Taste of Syracuse
The Taste is the kick off event and starts the annual summer festival season in Clinton Square on June 5 and 6, 2009.
Taste of Syracuse brings out the most exciting food and music throughout Central New York. The festival showcases specialties from over 85 area restaurants, wineries and other businesses.
Some exciting features of Taste of Syracuse will include:
- Live Entertainment on three stages, including actor Kevin Costner and his country-rock band, Modern West as the headliner (June 6 at 9:00 pm)
- Over 85 Exhibitors
- Kids Fun Zone
Each restaurant will sample foods for $1, and there will be larger portions for purchase.
The event runs from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday in Clinton Square, Hanover Square and some city streets, including Water Street.
