Alternative Movies & Events in Syracuse, NY is the Northeast's hot spot for cinema outside the norm. Conceived by b-movie filmmaker and distributor Ron Bonk in 1999 starting with the B-Movie Film Festival, AM&E has grown beyond a b-movie Academy Awards of sorts for independent filmmakers to a program that showcases all aspects of cinema - from lost films and underground cinema to Hollywood classics and big screen favorites.
