Screening of Andy Warhol Films

The Everson Museum of Art is proud to present a screening of Andy Warhol films on Saturday, October 11 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The screening will be held at the museum, 401 Harrison St., Syracuse, NY, in the Hosmer Auditorium, located on the lower level. This event is open to the public and free.

The selection of films to screen at the Everson include: The Nude Restaurant, 1967; Vinyl, 1965; The Velvet Underground & Nico (A Symphony of Sound), 1966; My Hustler, 1965; I a Man, 1967.

The showcasing of Warhol’s films is in conjunction with current exhibition, Warhol Presents, which highlights the early commercial career of the artist. Warhol’s whimsical drawings from the 1950’s created fantasies that marketed fashion and glamour through evocation. Warhol Presents will be on view through January 11 in the Robineau Gallery at the Everson Museum of Art.
