Featured in the choir's June performance are three late 15th century songs that achieved iconic status in Renaissance musical culture: "De tous bien playne", "Fortuna desperata", and "Fors seulement". Their unforgettable melodies and satisfying structures spawned "families" of subsequent compositions, including masses, motets, chansons and fantasias by Josquin, Ockeghem, Obrecht, de La Rue, Isaac, and the remarkably prolific Anonymous.
