Central New York high school students hoping to boost their SAT scores may register online for Manlius Pebble Hill School's winter/spring SAT Preparation Course. The SAT is a college entrance exams used by most colleges and universities to assess readiness for college-level work. The SAT scores are a major factor in college admissions. The SAT exam tests skills in math, reading, and writing, and includes an optional essay.
Manlius Pebble Hill School has partnered with Kaplan Academy for SAT Preparation, offering classes in the fall, winter/spring and summer. Kaplan's curriculum focuses on building skill and confidence. Classes are designed using real data with specialized strategies to beat the challenges hidden in each test.
The courses offer 24 hours of scheduled verbal and math instruction, focusing on strategies and problem solving on how to best manage time while taking the exam. The course fee includes the student’s edition book with two full-length practice exams, electronic score reports, an online student companion with additional practice tests, strategy videos and practice quizzes. Course fee is $225.00. Payment plans are available.
